The Ultra Mirage II mask system is specifically designed
to meet the needs of both patients and providers. The simplicity of
the design minimizes fitting time and reduces follow-up calls, rewarding
your patients with long nights of quiet, comfortable therapy and the
first step toward therapeutic compliance. The Ultra Mirage has a two-layer
cushion that provides optimal comfort and excellent stability. It
also has headgear release clips that allow easy removal of the mask
and eliminate the need for regular readjustment. The forehead support
provides excellent fit and stability, and it can be easily adjusted
while the patient is wearing the mask. The cushion clip ensures that
the cushion has maximum stability, even at the highest treatment pressures.
The quick release swivel allows easy removal of the air tubing from
the mask. Additional features include a super quiet air vent that
minimizes noise and enables efficient CO2 washout; vented air is channeled
along the air tubing so that it does not disturb patient or partner
and a 360° elbow rotation gives patients control over air tubing
orientation.
The new feature of the Ultra Mirage II is an improved forehead
support with flexible pads that conform to the shape of your forehead
for even more comfort and stability.
RESMED DESCRIPTION:
The Ultra Mirage II is available in four cushion sizes to fit most
patients the first time, every time. The Mirage dual-wall cushion
optimizes seal and patient comfort for improved compliance and therapy
effectiveness. Quick release clips allow for easy removal of the
headgear and eliminate the need for continual adjustment. Adjustable
forehead support provides stability with easy one-handed adjustment
and a choice of four clearly numbered positions. Swivel enables
easy connection and disconnection to the air tube while the 360º
elbow rotation provides flexibility of tubing position. Flexible,
one-piece forehead pads evenly conform to the contour of the forehead
so pads stay in place. A cushion clip ensures the mask cushion is
easy to attach and detach from the frame. The unique air vent design
provides optimum CO2 washout and reduces noise.
