DESCRIPTION:
The Oracle is a new and unique oral mask researched and developed
exclusively by Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. It has been designed
to deliver CPAP or bi-level therapy for patients with Obstructive
Sleep Apnea. The Oracles’ unique features offer our patients
the optimum in comfort. No headgear is needed – this will
provide a freedom of movement not experienced with any other mask
It is simple to fit as there are no straps to adjust which also
means no pressure points from over tightening of headgear. Improved
patient comfort increases patient compliance. The Oracle floats
comfortably in the patients mouth.It is also less intrusive as
you can still wear your glasses and is able to be used with dentures.
Please Note: It is required to use a heated
humidifier when using this interface system to prevent severe
dryness caused by the constant flow of air into your mouth and
throat.
