The new BiPAP Plus starts with Respironics proven BiPAP technology at its core, and then is packaged in the same platform as their M-Series family of products. The result is a smaller, easy-to-use BiPAP system with added treatment flexibility. BiPAP Plus integrates with the REMstar heated humidifier. The lighted controls are part of the BiPAP Plus unit, so they're always easy to find. And since the heater platform plugs into the device, there's only one plug to go into the wall. The Rise Time feature on the BiPAP Plus establishes the time that the device takes to change from EPAP to IPAP. This setting can be adjusted, giving you greater flexibility in matching patients therapy to their needs. Digital Auto-Trak Sensitivity triggers the BiPAP Plus to cycle between inspiratory and expiratory pressures based on the patients breathing rhythm. Auto-Trak also compensates for any leaks that may occur and ensures optimum system response with every breath adding another comfort level for both the patient and the home care provider.
Replacement Filters  
Filters for the M-Series CPAP Machines should be replaced on a regular schedule which will reduce the amount of bacteria and alergens from being introduced into your CPAP circuit. Most CPAP Machines require a Poly Foam Filter which may be washed and re-used. Additionally, many machines a secondary filter which is disposable. DC Power (Cigarette Lighter Adapter)
 The M Series DS100 equipped with a DC plug on the back of the unit. This allows the user to connect the CPAP to an external DC battery source. Using a Respironics, 12volt DC Power Cord the M Series DS100 can be powered by plugging into a cigarette lighter plug. This is ideal for long trips in the car, truck or on a boat which has a cigarette lighter plug. DC Power System

 Respironics has met the needs of customers by providing a Battery Pack which allows CPAP patients to remain active and outgoing. It weighs in at 13 lbs. and can be carried easily with its shoulder strapThis battery pack will provide approximately 26 hours of use, depending on the cpap pressure setting.
