DESCRIPTION:
The HC220 series adds heated humudification to standard CPAP therapy,
maintaining the necessary moisture level in the nasal air passageway
for optimal comfort. Fisher & Paykel also offers Ambient Tracking
on all of their humidified units. This technology automatically
adjusts the humidifier heater plate temperature with changes in
room temperature. This minimizes the negative effects of consendation
within the tubing and the mask. Another feature of the HC220 Series
is warm-up mode. This mode gradually increases the machine pressure
along with heater plate temperature to ease you into your therapy
every night. The HC221 model has the added featture of compliance
data storage that the HC220 does not.
