DESCRIPTION:
The REMstar Plus M Series with C-Flex offers optional integrated
humidification, optional Encore Pro SmartCard capability for basic
compliance reporting, lighted controls, an easy-to-read display
and the comfort of C-Flex. The REMstar Plus sports a small, sleek
device and case, a less obtrusive profile with tubing connected
in the back and a "hidden" water chamber. The plus offers
lighted primary touch controls for power, ramp, and C-Flex as well
as a LCD display and controls for advanced reporting and set up.
The humidifier controls have been simplified and now include an
easy turn humidification dial. A water chamber that is easy to remove,
fill and replace delivers continuous humidification throughout the
night. The REMstar Plus is convenient for travel with or without
the integrated humidifier. The standard travel carry case has been
updated with a new sleeker look.
Please Note: The M-Series machines utilize an external power supply.
This power supply is very similar to that of a laptop power cord
with a small, external transformer. .
Replacement
Filters
 
Filters for the M-Series CPAP Machines should be replaced
on a regular schedule which will reduce the amount of bacteria and
alergens from being introduced into your CPAP circuit. Most CPAP
Machines require a Poly Foam Filter which may be washed and re-used.
Additionally, many machines a secondary filter which is disposable.
DC
Power (Cigarette Lighter Adapter)
The M Series DS100 equipped with a DC plug on the back of the unit.
This allows the user to connect the CPAP to an external DC battery
source.
Using a Respironics, 12volt DC Power Cord the M Series DS100 can
be powered by plugging into a cigarette lighter plug. This is ideal
for long trips in the car, truck or on a boat which has a cigarette
lighter plug.

Power System
The complete DC Power system for the Respironics Legacy and M-Series
CPAP Machines. This system includes the cigarette lighter adapter
and direct connections for a 12V power source.

Battery Pack
Respironics has met the needs of customers by providing a Battery
Pack which allows CPAP patients to remain active and outgoing. It
weighs in at 13 lbs. and can be carried easily with its shoulder
strapThis battery pack will provide approximately 26 hours of use,
depending on the cpap pressure setting. (Results may vary.)
* The Respironics Battery Pack must be charged with a standard
A/C power source. This unit can be charged at voltages ranging from
115v – 230v. |
