Up to 80% of CPAP users complain of upper airway or nasal irritation. Unfortunately, these symptoms may be so severe; users are unable to continue treatment. The HC150 adds heated humidification to standard CPAP therapy maintaining mucosal hydration and preventing discomfort. During the night, room temperatures often drop. When this occurs, humidification users commonly notice condensation or water droplets forming in the tubing. Many find the associated gurgling noise irritating and are often forced to drain the tubing during the night. To overcome this, F&P has developed Ambient Tracking. This technology automatically adjusts the heater plate temperature as the room temperature changes. Condensation is minimized while humidity is maximized.
