It is typical for after a divorce to have a sleeping schedule that is slightly out of whack. When anything major happens in your life it tends to be hard to maintain regularity. It is okay to have an offbeat sleep schedule for a bit, it is the possibility of a permanent change in sleep schedule that is what should be feared. If sleep problems persist after a couple of months than a greater concern is at hand.

The lack of sleep can cause increased blood pressure levels. If you are suffering from increased blood pressure levels then you are at a greater risk for heart attack and stroke. In order to avoid this one must get on a daily health schedule in order to get a good night’s sleep and to avoid health hazards. Sleep problems is one of the main reasons that divorce can be seen as a health negative but as long as your sleep patterns stay normal all should be well.
